Our Team

The Occupational Therapy department works closely with teams throughout our district as the IEP specifies. Each team consists of first and foremost the parents/student, a SPED teacher, the classroom teacher, and possibly some one from OT, PT, Speech, Psych, or other specialist.

OT is District wide

This means that OT is responsible for qualifying services throughout our district. District-wide therapists travel to each school setting from Crested Butte, to Gunnison to Lake City and Marble. Susan's main office is located at Gunnison Elementary School. She has a mailbox there and in the district SPED office. Drop by and visit. If the door is closed then she is working elsewhere in the district.

Mariah is a certified assistant who will be working with students at Lake school and Crested Butte. A COTA works under an OTR/L We are so happy to have Mariah join our team.
