An excellent Resource is Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking website. It starts with a program called Social Detectives and then moves on to Super Flex. These programs use direct instruction to teach taking anothers perspective and active engagement stratgegies. They teach how to look for environmental cues and the how to recognize stumbling blocks to your own thinking skills. Super Flex teaches flexible thinking, maintaining attention and proper evaluation of other situations. It is an excellent resources. It also include resources for older

adolescents.
